330 mm steel rotor. Regeneration handles most of the stopping before it is ever touched.

64 neodymium magnets set in carbon sleeves, spinning either side of the stator.
Stator
18 concentrated copper windings, cooled directly by oil for full power on lap after lap.
Carbon wheel
A one-piece carbon disc that weighs 1.9 kg and carries the motor in its hub.
